She is a gentle, quiet soul. And our volunteers are a boisterous bunch. We like to say that if you're feeling sad and down, you won't be, by the time we leave. We visited Sharon at her home, where we presented her with one of our signature gift baskets, two gas gift cards and paid her power bill for the month. We also gave her a one- a-kind design, LADY O bracelet, by jewelry designer Odalis Ramos. Sharon is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has many months of treatment and surgery ahead of her. She says her sister, Millicent, has been her rock through the cancer journey. And now she has even more supporters in her corner. Welcome to the CHHBCO family, Sharon !
