Vanessa Echols Founder P.O.BOX 141022 ORLANDO, FL 32814-1022 407-864-6458 Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. copyright 2011 Yet Another Rita Production Operation: No English, No Problem This was a first for COMPASSIONATE HANDS AND HEARTS BREAST CANCER OUTREACH.  Our client speaks VERY LIMITED ENGLISH.  We were blessed to have two Spanish speaking volunteers with us for this outreach.  Adelaida came to us through one of our volunteers, Jacqueline, who's a substitute teacher at Boone High School in Orlando.  Adelaida used to work there and her husband is currently a custodian at the school.   The assistant principal thought we might be able to help her.  We arrived with our gift basket of goodies, a gift card from a big box store, a one of a kind bracelet made by volunteer Odalis and a special surprise.  We found out Adelaida had an outstanding medical bill that insurance didn't cover.  So we gave her a card and inside was a copy of the bill and a check for the exact amount of that medical bill.  And that's when the tears began to flow.  You don't need to speak the language to understand gratitude and love.  But then we got a surprise too.  Adelaida's friends had prepared delicious Colombian food for us.  And they even served it on the fine china.  It was a day of everyone feeling special and loved.
